What each batch is tested for
Testing is carried out on the finished batch. Methods follow the technical data sheet for each product, so results can be compared with the specification you received.
| Test | Method | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Solution viscosity | Rotational viscometer, controlled temperature | Confirms grade consistency between batches |
| Moisture content | Moisture analyser | Controls storage stability and dosing accuracy |
| Ash content | Muffle furnace | Indicates inorganic residue level |
| pH value | pH meter on prepared solution | Checks compatibility with cement and gypsum systems |
| Gel temperature | Controlled heating bath | Verifies behaviour in warm-climate applications |
| Appearance and bulk density | Visual inspection and bulk density cup | Screens packing and flow behaviour |
Process
Quality steps between raw material and dispatch
- 01
Incoming raw material check
Each incoming lot is checked against the agreed specification before it enters production.
- 02
In-process sampling
Samples are taken during reaction and drying, with adjustments made before the batch is released.
- 03
Final batch testing
Viscosity, moisture, ash, pH and appearance are tested on the finished batch, not on a composite sample.
- 04
Batch record and dispatch
A batch record is retained, and the batch number is printed on the packaging for traceability.
Next step
Build the qualification file
Request the certificate package, current TDS revisions and batch test format for the grades you are evaluating.
